WP6
RESULTS DISSEMINATION PLAN.
|
|
This working package includes
distribution and transfer of the project's results,
among the involved participants
with meetings, which shall take place during the
project and among exterior interested organizations.
This shall
be accomplished with the production of printed material,
the development of Web pages and finally with transaction
of conferences.
For
the exploitation of the project's results , information
and sensitization conferences shall take
place, for the prospects of the project and the
innovative dimensions of the Sign Language portal
and e-learning
environment, as well as other dissemination actions,
like production of brochures, web pages (www)
and articles in news papers. The
produced pilot content shall be installed on
the Server of N.C.S.R. "Demokritos" in
Greece and shall be in the languages of the countries
that participate as well as in the corresponding
Sign Language, for example there shall be Greek
language with Greek Sing Language, Finnish language
with Finnish
Sign Language and English language with English
Sign Language. Of course all the interpretations
of the
Sign Language shall be in digital video form
and available for each interested citizen. |

Role
of each institution in the dissemination of the results: |
|
NCSR Demokritos
The
Research Centre N.C.S.R. "Demokritos" due to its extensive
experience in European programs and its network infrastructure
- National Network (ARIADNE) constitutes the major scientific
pilot project supporting institution and it shall contribute
in the dissemination via the internet.
Also the creation of the portal and e-learning environment
and the human network (forum) shall considerably contribute
in the dissemination of the work in the Greek scientific
communities.

Sign
Language Center - KENG (Thessalonica)
The second biggest center of Sign Language in
Greece (Thessalonica) with its experience
from the multiple participations in projects
shall
considerably contribute in the dissemination
of the work in the deaf people community
through its network, more specifically in
Northern Greece.

The Royal National Institute for Deaf People - RNID
The
RNID is the biggest non profitable union that represents
9 millions deaf people in England. The presence
and the participation of RNID in the program guarantees
the dissemination of the work in the Community
of people in England, who in their majority are
illiterate.

FINLAND ASSOCIATION OF DEAF - DAF
The
centre of Sign Language in Finland with its experience
from its multiple participations in projects shall
considerably contribute in the dissemination of
the work in the deaf people community through its
network.

Project's
Results dissemination strategy |
|
Concerning the strategy for the pilot project testing,
we point out that the planning of the proposal in this
way, contributes to he dissemination plan. Meaning that
the inter-country Partners and the human network, which
is constituted by professors, Technicians, students and
producers in the field of Training, ensures the wider possible
usability of the pilot project. More specifically through
the pilot action of the Sign Language e-learning application,
we expect to educate not only the communities of the mentioned
human network but also each interested citizen that has
access to the Internet in the countries that are represented
in the pilot project.
The distribution of the results shall also be supported
by the original role of each partner in his country.
The partners play a decisive role, each in his country
for the implementation and promotion of the training
subjects of Sign Language, which is of the central interest
of this project. Apart from the use of the Internet as the new mass media
there shall be extensive use of the traditional mass
media, newspapers, radio and television, for the information
dissemination of the results of the project. |
