Design and Development of Network Informative Actions in the Sign Language sector (Human Network).
OBJECTIVES:
The objective of this working package is research, study and implementation of the portal. It concerns the development of a multi thematic network database with web interface, through which network information actions shall be supported, which shall be addressed in each person who is interested in professional subjects of Sign Language training.
The Portal shall include the human network (network forum) in which all the participants shall participate for:

- Exchange of scientific opinions among the research teams of the participants
- Communication and exchange of opinions among the Deaf Individuals on new technologies for the Sign language.
- Recording and solution of the project's problems

For this cause, asynchronous communication network tools (web forum) shall be used as well as modern services of teleconference (video conference, chat).

From the questions that shall be addressed to this service, a catalogue of Frequently Asked Questions shall be created.

Duration: 10 Quarters (572,30 workdays).

METHODOLOGY AND WORK TECHNIQUES:
The Portal shall constitute a unique and comprehensive network node, which shall grant fast access in information regarding the sing-language e-training. This information shall be updated regularly whilst it shall serve the content via a user friendly search engine. The portal is intended to be used by an audience that consists of deaf people, their professors, the sing language interpreters and by anyone interested. The portal shall be constructed on a database which shall be updated regularly via the active participation of the participants.

The Portal shall be a result of the efficient and constant collaboration of the participants (NCSR "Demokritos"), and training (KENG, RNID, and FAD).

In the portal and e-learning environment shall be also incorporated, network services that shall be constructed in the working package WP4 such as mail, chat, forum for the facilitation of the communication of all the interested parties. In this working package, simple specifications shall be defined for a service of Frequently Asked Questions that shall be implemented. A state of the art forum shall be created where the best questions shall be selected and placed in the multi thematic network database.
