By the end of each step the project aims to produce materials and documents which will be fundamental for the activation of the following phase; the intermediate results of the actions are thus continuously monitored and evaluated on the basis of their operating functionality for the starting of the next activity.
Monitoring will be carried out by means of a functional control on the advancement state of the project. It will assess the efficiency, the pertinence of the developed activities with regard to the project objectives, deadlines and adequateness of the used methods.

D2. Planning-Production of Educational Material on the Needs of distance-linguistic training of individuals with Hearing problems into the English language. Adaptation of the Educational Material according to the requirements of distance and On-line training
TOTAL
DURATION
4ï – 9ï quarter
AIMS
Based on the field research on the needs of the distance-linguistic training into the English Language from D1, and based also on the predefined specifications and technical knowledge we aim to draw out of the work D.E.L.F.E., the analytical presentation of the ‘specific’ educational material will take place, which will be used for the pilot application of the distance-linguistic training into the English language. The educational material is going to include texts, pictures and video with a full interpretation in the Sign Language of each country. From an educational point of view the overall didactic material will be adapted to suit the needs and particularities of the sensitive target group (Individuals hard of hearing). That is why the planning and production of the educational material will be carried out with the collaboration of the specific Deaf and teachers able to hear, who work in the research and training-centres that participate in the work and have a long time experience in the teaching of information technology to the Deaf / Hard of hearing.
